Mr Sridhar Dharmavaram is an experienced specialist consultant surgeon in the field of Gastro-intestinal & Colorectal Surgery. Dr Dharmavaram graduated from Government Medical College, Guntur, India and underwent postgraduate surgical training at Government Medical College, Mysore, India. In the United Kingdom, he completed his higher surgical training in East Midlands.
He completed a fellowship programme in laparoscopic/ trans-anal/ minimally invasive surgery (Ta TME) from the renowned advanced laparoscopic unit at Colchester General Hospital, Essex, UK.
He presently works as Consultant Surgeon at Lincoln Hospital, United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS trust, Lincoln. UK.

Royal College Tutor in the Department of Surgery at Lincoln, Lincolnshire.
His areas of special interest include laparoscopic (key-hole) surgery, colon, rectal cancer, trans-anal endoscopic surgery & inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). He has published several papers at national & international meetings and published research papers in colorectal surgery in his area of interest. He also teaches on surgical skills courses and is actively involved in training medical students & junior surgeons.
